9am Communion Service

You're welcome to join us over the summer for our weekly Communion Service in the church building. The service starts at 9am and will last for under an hour. We have social distancing and hygiene measures in place and, sadly, it is compulsory for those attending to wear masks unless they have an exception. You're more than welcome to come along on the day or, if you'd like more information, feel free to contact Neil at neil.smart@sjs.church.

9:30am Pre-Recorded Children's Service

The service is uploaded at 9:30am onto our YouTube and Facebook page before later being uploaded to this website under the 'Children' tab.

10:30am All Age Service

The 10:30am service is going back to the church building! We'll still be online on Facebook but as a live stream on the church service. The live stream will then be uploaded to our YouTube Channel.

Pastoral Team

Our telephone lists are in place to help and support those we know of who are in most immediate need. But we will also be trying to stay in touch with all our church members so if we call you please do not be put out. A friendly voice on the phone can really lift the spirits so this is a chance for us all to get involved. Please take time to call those you are connected with or any who might be feeling lonely at this time. This is a real chance for us to build community in the face of this crisis. It has been great to hear already of so much support being given. If there are pastoral situations that you’d like to inform us about please contact:

Additional Resources

Worship is also available via Premier Christian Radio and UCB radio channels which are available via digital television and DAB radio. There are also lots of resources, as well as the latest information on the church’s response, on the Church of England website.

If you have any stories that you would like us to make public then please send them into the office email.

With love and prayers

Jesus' love transforming lives from the heart of southsea

St Jude's is an Anglican Church in the heart of Southsea. We are about 300 people of all ages, so there should be someone similar to you!

At St Jude's we believe that everyone has been made by God to know Him and love Him.

Our desire is to be an exciting place where we encounter God, see lives transformed and to be a haven in the heart of Southsea, where you can find a safe port in the storms of life, and get rebuilt, re-provisioned, re-equipped and re-commissioned for a new voyage of adventure!
