St Jude's Church
Having the church building open for prayer has been a fantastic step forwards for us as a church. It's been so good to see people again and to be open as a space for worship. However, due to a number of factors, we've decided to pause Private Prayer in the church for the next couple of weeks.
Part of the reason for this is that the scale of the works on the church building, although brilliant, have proved quite disruptive to the prayer space. We want to make sure that when people come for prayer they're able to come to a welcoming and hospitable space and, sadly, we're not able to offer that at this moment in time. We will be reviewing this decision after 2 weeks but, in the meantime, if there's anything you'd like prayer for please contact us at email@example.com. We'd love to hear from you.
10:30am All Age Zoom Service
The service takes place on Zoom (sign up to church newsletter for more details or contact Sonam at firstname.lastname@example.org) at 10:30am and is live-streamed on Facebook before being uploaded to YouTube and the 'Services' tab of this website.
9:30am Pre-Recorded Children's Service
On Sunday (12th) we trialling a communion service in the church focused initially on those who have not been able to connect with online services. Due to restrictions on space and resources, we kept numbers down for the first week and have invited those we know would benefit particularly from this service. However, we will be looking to extend the invitation as time moves forward. If you're interested in attending a future communion service please email Neil at email@example.com by this coming Thursday (16th).
Take a look at all that's happening online on the 'What's On' tab of this website.
You can keep in touch and find out what we're doing here:
Our telephone lists are in place to help and support those we know of who are in most immediate need. But we will also be trying to stay in touch with all our church members so if we call you please do not be put out. A friendly voice on the phone can really lift the spirits so this is a chance for us all to get involved. Please take time to call those you are connected with or any who might be feeling lonely at this time. This is a real chance for us to build community in the face of this crisis. It has been great to hear already of so much support being given. If there are pastoral situations that you’d like to inform us about please contact:

Worship is also available via Premier Christian Radio and UCB radio channels which are available via digital television and DAB radio. There are also lots of resources, as well as the latest information on the church’s response, on the Church of England website.
If you have any stories that you would like us to make public then please send them into the office email.
With love and prayers
