Youth

Our aim is to see young people journey to becoming those who;

  • Have a personal relationship with Jesus

  • Have high expectations of what God can do

  • Have a faith that impacts and transforms their lives

  • Are proactive in sharing their faith with their friends

Sunday Morning - Equip

Each Sunday during term time, Equip meets during our 10:45am morning service. Equip is for young people in secondary school (school years 7-11). As with our ministry to adults, our youth ministry is aimed at discipleship of Jesus, expecting Him to to speak to us through His word and guide us by His spirt.

Be Group

BE Group is our Sunday evening discipleship group for young people in school years 9 - 13. Join us at 7pm as we worship with the 7, then head upstairs for our sessions with games, a reflection on how God's Word speaks to us today and a time of prayer.

SOS

SOS (Social on Saturday) is our monthly opportunity for those in years 6 -9 to hang out with us at St Jude’s. We have lots of games, music and fun activities as well as great food. We reflect on different biblical themes and how we can enact them in our lives.

Saturday Night Social

Kathy and Vicky invite everyone in school years 9-13 to come and join us for a monthly social once a month on a Saturday evening.

We’ll have movie nights, games nights, and maybe even some trips out!

Eden

Eden is a safe space for young people from across Southsea to come and relax and have fun. With a variety of games taking place from table tennis to Nintendo Switch to dodge ball. Come to play games or to grab a slice of pizza and to talk with someone.

Eden currently takes place at Kings Church on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month from 7:30-9pm. Open for school years 7-13.

High Tide

High Tide is our city-wide worship event for young people aged 11-18. With games, worship, input, discussion and prayer, High Tide is a great opportunity for your young people to meet other young Christians and invite their friends to come and explore who Jesus is.

Check out ‘what’s on’ for the next event.
